Fairprice Plus will pay the highest interest on savings now even when they have revised their savings rate down from a flat 1% for all balances to apply to only balances exceeding $50,000. Previously, Fairprice Plus Savings paid 1% on ALL balances, but now they have decided to only pay 1% on large balances of $50,001 and above. Maybank iSavvy savings is still offering competitive interest at 1.08% for daily balances exceeding $5,000 and 1.38% for daily balances exceeding $50,000.
