Fairprice Plus reduces interest to 0.5% on savings up to $50,00 w.e.f. 1 March 2009

Previously, Fairprice Plus Savings paid 1% on ALL balances, but now they have decided to only pay 1% on large balances of $50,001 and above. Maybank iSavvy savings is still offering competitive interest at 1.08% for daily balances exceeding $5,000 and 1.38% for daily balances exceeding $50,000.
