Fairprice Plus Savings Highest for balances $50,000 to $500,000

Fairprice Plus will pay the highest interest on savings now even when they have revised their savings rate down from a flat 1% for all balances to apply to only balances exceeding $50,000.
However, compared to Maybank, Fairprice Plus pays higher interest of 0.5% for balances $5,000 and below.

Maybank iSavvy Savings Account Interest Declines

Maybank iSavvy Savings account interest paid for balances $5,000 to below $50,000 was 1.08% while balances $50,000 and above was at 1.38%.
Fairprice Plus savings pays the highest interest for savings as their interest is 0.5% for balances below $50,000 and 1.00% for balances from $50,000 to $500,000.

Previously, Fairprice Plus Savings paid 1% on ALL balances, but now they have decided to only pay 1% on large balances of $50,001 and above.
Maybank iSavvy savings is still offering competitive interest at 1.08% for daily balances exceeding $5,000 and 1.38% for daily balances exceeding $50,000.
