   When this offer start? I called up Standard Chartered Bank hotline but they told me only got 1.5%p.a for 150 days offer only.

   I called the hotline. The promotion has ended. Nowadays short tenure FD promotion is like hot cakes. Is usually closed one day after launched.

   If promotion is 1 day only then it may be a gimmick to lure you to the bank……… Why the Website is still publishing the rate? Misleading …….

   Can anyone gimme a rough idea on how much actual interest (in SGD) will be paid out for 1.5% FD for an amount of 100000 for 6 months?

   Hi Anil

   It’s 1.5% x SGD 100,000 x 0.5 year = SGD 750 at the end of 6 months.
